Puckett Wolves crush Enterprise

Senior running back Desmond Anderson scored four touchdowns asPuckett destroyed the Enterprise Fighting Yellow Jackets 60-14Friday night on Harry Cole Field in Region 6-2A action.
The Wolves (5-1, 1-0) managed to get on the scoreboard first andset the tone for the game as the fans witnessed a huge offensiveshowing in the first half.
Desmond Anderson showcased his talents as he marched down the fieldto score on runs of 43, 50, 56, and 5 yards for the Wolves. JeremyPolk went four-for-eight on extra points for the night.
Enterprise (2-4, 0-1) answered back in the first quarter whenquarterback Cody White scramble in for a 2-yard touchdown with 6:09remaining. Lance Springs went two-for-two on extra points for thenight for the Jackets.
Quarterback Dearron McMiller returned the favor for Puckett as hetook an Enterprise kickoff back 70 yards to paydirt with 5:54remaining.
Puckett’s offense also received scores from Hakeem Carr, 10-yardrun; Allen Stevenson, 50-yard run; Fletcher Trask, 8-yard run andPatrick Fletcher, 75-yard run for the game.
The Jackets scored their second touchdown of the game when GarretGreer sprinted a kickoff return back 77 yards with 9:42 remainingin the second quarter.
The Wolves’ powerful defense held Enterprise’s offense to a totalof 30 yards for the game.
Defensively, Jedd Moak led the Jackets with 8 tackles. TaylorRutland and Brad Prather provided 7 tackles apiece.
