Burlian O’Neal Walker, 68, of Hattiesburg, passed away Tuesday,Oct. 5, 2010, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg.

Burlian was born in Magee on Oct. 31, 1941, the son of the lateArlee (Williamson) and Cordas Burlian Walker.

A retired educator, he is survived by a sister, Audrey (Joey)Andrews, of Laurel; a niece, Shannon (Rusty) Ladner, ofHattiesburg; and a nephew, Doug Walker of Chicago, IL.

Burlian was preceded in death by a brother, Cletus Walker; and asister, Ella Lee Walker.

Visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 7, 2010, from 5 until 8 p.m. atTutor Funeral Home in Magee, and Friday beginning at 11 a.m. atCorinth Baptist Church in Magee.

The religious service will be at the church at 2 p.m. on Friday,Oct. 8, 2010, with the Revs. Jay Wesbrooks, Carroll D. Rippy, MikeHankins, and Chris Layton officiating.

Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
