A memorial service for Virginia Lee “Jenny” Leggett, ofBrookhaven, will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, atBrookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on North Jackson Street, with burialin Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Friday from 2 p.m. until the time of the service atthe funeral home.

Miss Leggett, 74, died Oct. 27, 2010, at Countrybrook Living Centerin Brookhaven. She was born on Oct. 22, 1936, to Troy and HilmaLeggett, of Bogue Chitto.

She was disabled from birth. Since the age of 12, she resided atEllisville State School and at Lincoln Residential Center until2009.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her brothers, EarlRussell Leggett and Charles Bennett Leggett.

Survivors are her sisters, Dorthy Spencer, of Hazlehurst, and BettyBryant, of Orange, Texas; and her brother, Roger Leggett, ofBrookhaven.
