Funeral services for Cody Swane Davis, of Ruth, are 1 p.m. onTuesday, Nov. 2, at Powell’s Grove Pentecostal Church in Jayess,with burial in Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Jayess.Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Monday beginning at 5 p.m. at Powell’s GrovePentecostal Church.

Mr. Davis, 19, died Oct. 28, 2010, in Summit. He was born inBrookhaven on Nov. 10, 1990.

He was a construction worker and graduate of Enterprise AttendanceCenter. He was a member of Oak Grove Pentecostal Church.

Preceding him in death was his mother, Michele Wallace; hisgrandmother, Cheryl Prather; his aunt, Ashley Prather; hisgreat-grandmother, Wickie Alexander; and his great-grandparents,Marvin and Eula Mae Davis.

Survivors are his father, Hujuan Swane Davis; his sisters, HaleyWallace and Brianna Wallace; his grandparents, Ray and Elaine Davisand David Prather; his great-grandfather, Clarence Alexander; hisgreat-grandmother, Grace Kokemor; his aunts and uncles, Roy andShanda McGovern, Andy and Tera McGovern, Crystal McGovern, MechelleBurnette, Michael and Carla Murphy and Jason and April Mullins; and15 first cousins.
