The Wesson Cobras played their first games of the season andlost to the McComb Tigers at the Copiah-Lincoln Community Collegesoccer field. The Lady Cobras lost 3-0 and the boys fell 3-1 innon-district action.

Desiree Mallory scored the first two goals of the game for McComband was followed by a goal from Ariel Hutson. Neither team was ableto score during the second half.

In the boys game, Chris Codding and Demerio Andrews each scored agoal during the first half for the Tigers. During the second half,Janis Kohik scored the final goal for the Tigers.

Scoring the only goal for Wesson was newcomer Emillio Collado whoscored on a penalty kick.

Wesson will play again Nov. 30,, at Lawrence County. Their nexthome game is a district contest against Natchez Cathedral onFriday, Dec. 3.
