Funeral services for Patsy “Pat” Holden, of Sontag, are 2 p.m.on Wednesday, Nov. 24, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sontag, withburial in the church cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home in Monticello isin charge of arrangements.
Visitation is Tuesday at the church from 5 until 9 p.m., and onWednesday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
Mrs. Holden, 63, died Nov. 21, 2010, at her residence. She was bornin Magee on Nov. 18, 1947, to Walter R. Bishop and Margaret EllaJones.
She was an Avon representative for 11 years and was retired fromher work as a cafeteria manager for five years at Lawrence CountyHigh School. She was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. She was anNFL New Orleans Saints fan since day one. She loved to read, lovedchildren, loved sports and loved Elvis Presley.
Preceding her in death were her parents; and her brothers, RichardBishop and Danny Bishop.
Survivors are her husband, Albert “Duts” Holden Jr. of Sontag; hersons, Albert William Holden Jr. of Sontag, Stephen Cory Holden andAnita, and Brian Patrick Holden, all of Jayess, and Shane JefferyHolden of Brookhaven; her brother, Ray Bishop and Nancy ofMendenhall; her sisters, Betty Robbins and Kenneth of Carson,Myrtis Craig and Ed of Rossville, Ga., Margaret Coble of Tunica,and Linda Hester and Kenny of Prentiss; and her eightgrandchildren.
