Funeral services for Janice Kaye “Shorty” Pickett Murray, ofSmithdale, will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 17, at Mt. ZionBaptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. MarshallFuneral Home in Bude is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Thursday from 7 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, andon Friday from noon until the time of the service.

Mrs. Murray, 63, died Dec. 14, 2010, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Natchez on June19, 1947.
