Funeral services for Bobbie Nell Brown McGowan, of Ruth, are 11a.m. Saturday, Jan. 22, at Topisaw M.B. Church in Ruth with burialin the church cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 1 until 6 p.m. at Williams Mortuary.Family hour is on Saturday from 10 until 11 a.m. at thechurch.

Mrs. McGowan, 76, died Jan. 16, 2011, at her residence. She wasborn on May 16, 1934, in Lincoln County to Tommie Brown and BunaStovall Brown.

She was a member of Topisaw M.B. Church.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, Clyde “Toy”McGowan; her brothers, M.L. Brown and J.W. Brown; and a sister,Cubie Lee Brown.

Survivors include her daughter, Mary Ann McGowan, of Ruth; her son,Clyde McGowan, or Ruth; her brother, T.V. Brown of Johnson Creek,Wis.; her sisters, Dorkes Anderson and Mary Lee Brown, both ofLouisville, Ky., and Charlene Grant, of Ruth; and many nieces,nephews and other relatives.
