Jeff ‘David’ Wilson, aka ‘The Bogue Chitto Peanut Man’

Funeral services for Jeff “David” Wilson, also known as “TheBogue Chitto Peanut Man,” of Bogue Chitto, are 10 a.m. onWednesday, Jan. 26, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service Chapel inBrookhaven. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Wilson, 79, died Jan. 24, 2011, at his residence. He was bornin Lincoln County on Sept. 25, 1931 to Joe Gilbert Wilson andSamantha Smith Wilson.

He was a retired oil field worker. He was a member of Bogue ChittoBaptist Church. He also served in the Army during the KoreanWar.

Preceding him in death were his five brothers, two sisters, twograndchildren and one great-grandchild.

Survivors are his wife, Lois A. Wilson; his sons, David “Bo” Wilsonand wife, Pat, Donald Wilson, Jeff Wilson and wife, Terry and JoeWilson; his stepsons, Claude Reeves and David Reeves and wife, Ute;his daughters, Peggy W. Castilaw and husband, Rex, and Leanne W.Lofton and husband, Lee; his sister, Pearline Case; his 15grandchildren; and his 11 great-grandchildren.

The family request in lieu of flowers, a donation to be sent to acharity of the donor’s choice.
