James Leon Shelton, 53, passed away January 23, 2011 at hisresidence.

Visitation will be 5 until 8 p.m. Thursday at Stringer FamilyFuneral Home in Hazlehurst.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Stringer Family Chapel withburial in Shelton Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home inHazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mr. Shelton was a native and lifelong resident of the Hazlehurstarea. He was a driver for 25 years, most recently for SchneiderTrucking.

He loved to hunt, fish and spend time with his family. Mr. Sheltonwas a member of Brandywine United Methodist Church. He was devotedto serving God and serving his family.

He is survived by his sons, Lavon Parker, of Byram, Chris Sandersand wife, Yvonne, of Madison, Al., and Dustin Shelton and wife,Chassity, of Crystal Springs; his father,

Samuel Edwin Shelton, of Pattison; his six grandchildren; and onegreat grandchild.
