Funeral services for the Rev. Burgess Jointer, of Hazlehurst,are 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, at St. James Missionary BaptistChurch, with burial in Little Rock Cemetery in Wesson. R.E. TylerFuneral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.The family will be present at the church on Friday from 6 until8:30 p.m.

The Rev. Jointer, 89, died Jan. 21, 2011, at Haven Hall. He wasborn on Dec. 2, 1921.
