A Brookhaven teenager will stand trial for murder in connectionwith the shooting death of a high school classmate last year.

Tye Q. Williams, 17, of 632 North Sixth St., has been indicted onone count of murder for allegedly slaying 16-year-old BryantHolloway following a dispute on Oct. 25 last year. The altercationon Short Street that Sunday night ended when Holloway was killed bya gunshot to his head.

The boys were reported to be lifelong friends who had a fallingout. They were classmates at Brookhaven High School.

Williams will be arraigned before Circuit Judge David Strong onThursday, March 3.
