Angeline Michel Guidry

Angeline Michel Guidry, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, La.,passed away on Feb. 24, 2011, at Teche Regional Medical Center. Shewas born on Dec. 20, 1924.
Angeline enjoyed visiting and hosting card parties with her friendsand spending as much time with her children and grandchildren aspossible.
She is survived by her two sons, Lawrence Guidry and his wife, Maryof Berwick, and Joe Guidry and his wife, Cathy of Morgan City; twodaughters, Ellen Kay Guidry Bourgeois and her husband, Christopherof Stephensville, and Jane Guidry Coleman and her husband, Eddie ofBrookhaven; her nine grandchildren, Ellen B. Young, ScottBourgeois, Joshua Guidry, Jonette Guidry, Angie Lins, NickolasColeman, Kimberly Slobogan, Taylor Coleman and Stephanie GuidryStanley; eight great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Young, Matthew Young,Keegan Lange, Madden Coleman, Carter Coleman, Marianna Lins, StellaLins and Mia Slobogan; two sisters, Rita M. Bonner and Sister JoyceMichel; and a very special sister-n-law, Edna Michel; along with ahost of nieces and nephews.
Angeline was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and MatildaMichel Sr.; her husband, Edward P. Guidry; one grandson, ChaseColeman; five brothers, Lawrence Jr., Hilton, Floyd, Maurice andDaniel Michel; and one sister, Theresa M. Canty.
Visitation was held on Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at Holy CrossCatholic Church, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Shewas laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following themass.
Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City was entrusted with thearrangements.
