A Brookhaven man who turned himself in to authorities after ashooting last year will be tried for murder.

Robert M. Wilcher, 21, of 619 North Laura St., has been indictedon one count of murder for his alleged involvement in the Sept. 20,2010 shooting death of 27-year-old Domanic Richardson. Richardsonwas shot outside Wilcher’s home in Cloverdale reportedly followinga series of arguments between him and Wilcher, who surrendered toauthorities and told them where the weapon was located shortlyafter the incident.

Richardson, who was shot multiple times by a .380 automatic,later died at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

Wilcher’s arraignment date has not been set.
