John F. Forman Sr.

John F. Forman Sr., 60, a resident of Magnolia, died March 1,2011, at St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital in Jackson. He wasborn on June 25, 1950, in Magnolia to the late Robert Rodney Formanand Cora Nell Fuller Forman.

Mr. Forman was employed by the Mississippi Department ofWildlife, Fisheries and Parks for 24 years as a game warden. He wasa member of Magnolia Church of the Nazarene and also a member ofthe Officers Association and Dairymen Association. He was a devotedhusband, father and grandfather who loved the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda Allen Forman of Magnolia; son,John Forman Jr. of Terry; daughters and sons-in-law, WacandaKeisler and Toby of Lexington, S.C., and Chanda McGovern and Roy ofSummit; grandchildren, Marinda Spears, Katie Keisler, John “Trey”Forman III, Tobin “T.J.” Keisler, Stormi McGovern, Whitney “Wo Wo”Forman, Colton McGovern, Sadie Neyn and Joseph Clark; sisters, RuthLang and Betty Creed, both of Magnolia; brothers andsisters-in-law, Doyle Forman and Doralene of Magnolia, and Charlesand Deloris Forman of McComb.

Visitation is Wednesday, March 2, from 5 until 9 p.m., and onThursday from noon until service time at 2 p.m. Both visitation andservices will be at the First Baptist Church in Magnolia. Intermentwill be in the Magnolia Cemetery with the Rev. Al Woodsofficiating. Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb is in charge ofarrangements.

Pallbearers are Lane Ball, Jimmy Hutson, Don Foreman, J.D.Watkins, Gary Crumm and David DeOrnellas. Honorary pallbearers areemployees of Mississippi Game and Fish.
