Funeral services for Russell Moak, of Bogue Chitto, are 2 p.m.on Sunday, March 13, at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel on NorthJackson Street, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemeteryin Bogue Chitto.

Visitation is Sunday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service atthe funeral home.

Mr. Moak, 81, died March 12, 2011, in Bogue Chitto. He was born inLincoln County on Jan. 13, 1930, to Henry Clay Moak and FlorenceArcanie Wallace Moak.

He was a retired conductor with Illinois Central Railroad. He was amember of Bethel Baptist Church and a United States Army veteran ofthe Korean War.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Barbara Moak;his brothers, Carl Moak and Jack Moak; and his sisters, KatherynWilcox and Faye Reeves.

Survivors are his son, Rusty Moak and wife, Melissa, of BogueChitto; his daughters, Janet Johnson and husband, Will, of BogueChitto, and Kay Evans and husband, Chuck, of Magnolia; his sister,Josie Wallace and husband, Bud, of Bogue Chitto; his grandchildren,Alicia Kimble, Henry Crosby, Jennifer Crosby, Stacey Evans, AlaynaMoak and Mikki Mitchell; and his great-grandchildren, ColtenKimble, Carlie Kimble and J.T. Crawford.
