Funeral services for Daniel D. Sharak, of Wesson, are 2 p.m. onTuesday, March 22, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel, with burial inWesson Cemetery.
Visitation was Monday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. Sharak, 53, died on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, 2011, atSouthwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. He wasborn in Warren, Ohio, on Sept. 14, 1957.
He was a former technician for Potter Company and an expertgunsmith, his favorite hobby. He worked for Gunsmith Inc. inJackson. He was a United States Army veteran.
Survivors are his parents, Eugene and Margaret Sharak, of Wesson;his brothers, Kenneth C. Sharak, of Los Angeles, Calif., and ToddA. Sharak and wife, Arwen, of Cherokee Village, Ark.; his sister,Gina L. Sharak, of Willow Springs, Mo.; his nieces and nephew, RaeAnne, of Willow Springs, Elizabeth, of McBride, and Katie andTommy, both of Cherokee Village; and his great-nephews andgreat-niece, Christian, Ashton and Jade, all of WillowSprings.
He loved his nieces and nephews like they were his life. They havegreat memories of messing up his bed, helping him clean his guns,and watching his favorite movies with him. The look of his smilemade Katie’s heart rise and Elizabeth says he was the best uncleany niece or nephew could ask for. He loved them as if they werehis own and spoiled them with his famous cheesecakes.
He loved them so much and he will be greatly missed by all ofthem.
