Funeral services for James O. “Jamie” White, of Brookhaven, were11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 26, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel, with burial in Easthaven Cemetery in Brookhaven.
Visitation was Monday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeralhome.
Mr. White, 67, died April 22, 2011, at Regency Hospital of St.Dominic Hospital in Jackson. He was born in Mississippi on Jan. 1,1944, to James L. White and Nora Bell Blades White.
He was a longtime employee of Jacobson Lawnmower Plant and wasretired from being self-employed at James Curb Market. He was amember of Jackson Street United Methodist Church in Brookhaven anda member of the CB Club of Brookhaven.
Preceding him in death were his parents; his grandfather, DocBlades; his grandmother, Ollie Blades; his brothers, Cecil Whiteand Harvey White; and his sister, Lorraine Johnson.
Survivors are his wife, Barbara Lee White; his sons, James DarylWhite and Kevin John White; his daughters, Brenda Gail Hamack andCathy Jo White Tanner; his brothers, Melvin White, Ollie White,Kenny White, Stevie White and Robert White; his sister, Mary White;his grandchildren, Lynn Meadows, Courtney Meadows King, KatieMeadows Shelton, Jaslynn White, Madie White and Karter White; hisgreat-grandchildren, Tyler King, Charlie Shelton, Raleigh Meadowsand Haliegh Meadows; and his uncles, Otis Lee Blades and CarolWhite.
