Dianne Stewart Rowell, of McComb, died April 30, 2011, at herdaughter’s residence in Victoria, Texas. Visitation is Wednesday atHartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb from 5 until 8 p.m. andcontinues Thursday at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church from 9 a.m.until funeral mass at 10 a.m. Father Brian Kaskie will officiate.Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery.

Mrs. Stewart, 62, was born August 8, 1948, in Pascagoula to SethJ. and Alice Smith Stewart. She was a member of St. AlphonsusCatholic Church. She was a homemaker, and a loving and caringmother and grandmother. She also taught Religion at St. AlphonsusCatholic School. Mrs. Rowell loved to sew and research genealogy.While her health allowed, she was active in volunteer work innumerous organizations including the Pregnancy Crisis Center inMcComb.

Preceding her in death were her father; and her husband, RichardWayne Rowell, who died in 2007.

Survivors are her mother, Alice Evelyn Smith Stewart of McComb;two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff and Patty Rowell, and SteveRowell, all of McComb; two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan andBill Holloway of Victoria, Texas and Sharon and Craig Moak ofMcComb; two brothers, Mike Stewart and his wife, Jan and RichardStewart, all of McComb; her grandchildren, Jared Holloway, JacobRowell, Zachary Rowell, David Rowell, Shelbie Rowell, Alex Rowell,Julia Moak, Seth Moak and Ben Moak.
