Steven Wayne Franklin, 36, a technician at Performance Audio,died Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at his home in Brookhaven.

Funeral services were Saturday, May 14, 2011, at 2 p.m. in thechapel of Waller Funeral Home in Oxford. The Rev. Eric Brownofficiated. Burial was in Shiloh Cemetery.

Visitation was Friday from 5 until 7 p.m. at the funeralhome.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 15, 2011 at 2 p.m. atCenterpoint Church in Brookhaven with visitation preceding theservice from 1 until 2 p.m.

Born in Oxford, Steven was a member of Centerpoint Church inBrookhaven. He enjoyed working on custom cars, photography andworking on computers. He was a member of Perfect Nemesis CarClub.

Survivors include his wife, Jessica Lucas Franklin, of Brookhaven;his daughter, Addison Claire Franklin, of Brookhaven; his son,Preston Evan Franklin, of Olive Branch; his parents, Lannon andJane Franklin, of Thaxton; and his sisters, Ann Goss, of Grenada,and Michelle Robinson, of Greenville.
