Funeral services for Hollis Daniel “Danny” Reeves, ofBrookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 21, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service Chapel, with burial in Easthaven Cemetery.

Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeralhome.

Mr. Reeves, 63, died May 18, 2011, at St. Dominic Hospital inJackson. He was born in McComb on December 21, 1947, to Cecil andRuth Daniel Reeves.

He was a member of the U.S. Army, serving with the 112thMilitary Police of Canton during Desert Storm. He loved hunting,fishing and gardening. He was a member of Montgomery BaptistChurch.

Preceding him in death was his father, Cecil Reeves.

Survivors are his mother, Ruth Daniel Reeves; his wife,Jeannette Smith Reeves; his son, Jason Daniel Reeves and his wife,JeanAnn, of Ridgeland; his daughter, Jennifer Dawn Reeves, and herfiancé, Bubba Brock, of Brookhaven; his brothers, Earl P. Reevesand wife, Joy, of Wiggins; Roger D. Reeves and wife, Helen, ofWesson; Terry G. Reeves and wife, Pam, of Brandon; Larry C. Reevesand wife, Carolyn, of Bogue Chitto; and C. Greg Reeves of Houston,Tex.; his sisters, Linda Gaul and husband, Joseph, of Kansas City,Mo.; Kay Lea and husband, Mark, of Bogue Chitto; Cecile McCaffreyand husband, Raymond, of Bogue Chitto; Connie King and husband,Bert, of Collins; and Lynn Johnson and husband, Kevin, of Wiggins;many nieces and nephews.
