Funeral services for Betty Pauline Goodroe, of Brookhaven, are 1p.m. on Saturday, May 28, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Westwith burial in the church cemetery. Riverwood Family FuneralService is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation is Friday from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home andSaturday from noon until 1 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Goodroe, 65, died May 25, 2011, at Mississippi Baptist MedicalCenter in Jackson. She was born in Oklahoma on Sept. 23, 1945, toNeal Kinsey and Iva Mae Tadlock Kinsey.

She was a homemaker. She was of the Baptist faith.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her sisters, DorothySteelman, Lucille Tarpley and Darlene Millis; her brother, CharlesKinsey; her son, Douglas Neal Goodroe; her grandson, Craig Goodroe;and her son-in-law, Mike Porch.

Survivors are her husband, James Lee Goodroe; her son, James BlazerGoodroe; her daughters, Pamela Renee Porch, Suzanne L. Kemp andAngela Darlene Young; her stepsons, James D. Goodroe and Robert W.Goodroe; her stepdaughters, Mary Goodroe, Cindy L. Miller andMichelle Trahan; her brothers, James P. Kinsey and Aubrey Kinsey;her sister, Bernice Bennett; her sons-in-law and daughters-in-law;her grandchildren, Rosita, Hope and Victoria Goodroe, Michael andHouston Porch, Andrea, Anna and Landon Kemp, J.J. Falcon and DanielDaley; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
