Funeral services for Doshie L. Newson, of Summit, are 1 p.m. onSaturday, June 4, at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Jayesswith burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. Freddie Dear willofficiate. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Friday from noon until 8 p.m., with family presentfrom 7 until 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mrs. Newson, 72, died May 31, 2011, at Southwest MississippiRegional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Lincoln Countyon Nov. 29, 1938.
