Memorial services for Robert Larry Rippy, of Brookhaven, are 3p.m. on Sunday, June 12, at Riverwood Family Funeral ServiceChapel.

Visitation is Sunday from 1 until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Rippy, 60, died June 9, 2011, at his residence. He was born inMississippi on Sept. 6, 1950, to Robert L. Rippy and Beatrice MooreRippy.

He was a self-employed painter. He was of the Church of Christfaith.

Preceding him in death were his parents; his brother, Elmer Rippy;and his brother-in-law, Carlos Wallace.

Survivors are his long-time companion, Susan Birdsong; his stepson,Eric Birdsong; his stepdaughters, Misty Moak and SamanthaWilkinson; his sisters, Joycie Wallace and Bobbie Rawls andhusband, Dalvis; his grandchildren, Heather Moak, Hanna Moak, HaleyMoak and Matthew Birdsong; and his nephews, Dwight, Carl, Jason andJeremy Wallace and Bryan and Bradley Morgan.
