Funeral services for Leroy Malone Acy,of Wesson, are 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, at Community FuneralServices in Brookhaven with burial in Nations Cemetery.

    Mr. Acy, 67, died June 23, 2011, at King’s Daughters Medical Centerin Brookhaven. He was born in Black Hawk on Nov. 26, 1943, toEarnest Malone Acy and Elsie Granthom Acy.

    He was a retired truck driver for Cortez Byrd Trucking Co.

    Preceding him in death were his parents; five brothers; foursisters; and one child, Robin Headley.

    Survivors are his wife, Rita Faye Acy, of Wesson; his sons, KennethWayne Acy, Lee Atkinson and Michael Thompson; his daughters, SherryTinkle, Stacy White and husband, Dennis, Karen Thompson andJennifer Thompson; his brother, Houston Acy and wife, Dianne; hissisters, Betty Campbell and husband, Troyce, Carol Searcy andhusband, J.R., Sandy Hamilton, Vicky Roberts and husband, Andy,Jane Ready and husband, Dale, Amy Sims and husband, Randy, PamReston and husband, Darrell, Birdie Mae McBride and Clarice Dunn;16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
