Funeral services for Brianna Marie Givens,of Monticello, are 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 21, at CalvaryPentecostal Church in Jayess with burial in Neal-Smithie Cemetery.Wilson Funeral Home of Monticello is in charge of arrangements.

    Miss Givens, 11, died July 19, 2011, at Blair E. Batson Hospitalfor Children in Jackson.

    Brianna attended school at the Calvary Pentecostal School and wouldhave been in the sixth grade this coming school year. She wasactive in the Make a Wish Foundation.

    Preceding her in death was her uncle, Johnny L. Neal.

    Survivors are her parents, Byron Lynn and Kim Neal Givens, ofMonticello; her grandparents, Floyd Neal and Barbara Dyess Neal, ofMonticello, and Louis Givens and Voncile Lambert Givens, ofJayess.
