Lanelle Jones Williams, 85, of McComb, diedAug. 29, 2011, at McComb Nursing and Rehab. She was born on May 2,1926, in Pike County to the late C.W. Jones Sr. and Lela D. JohnsonJones.

    Mrs. Williams was a member of Friendship Baptist Church and retiredfrom McComb Extended Care.

    She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hugh Williams and agrandson Matthew Williams.

    Mrs. Williams is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, WayneWilliams, of Summit, Larry Williams and Jan, of Summit, and RickyWilliams and Carolyn, of Smithdale; her sister, Helen Boren, ofSmyrna, Tenn.; her grandchildren and spouses, Brad Williams andTeisha, Dana Wallace and Craig, Katie Hart and Joseph, Sarah Wilsonand Robert, and Luke Williams and Crystal; and 10great-grandchildren.

    Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 30, from 5 until 8 p.m. andWednesday from 9 a.m. until service time at 10 a.m. atHartman-Sharkey Funeral Home. Burial will be at Reeves Cemeterywith the Rev. Laverne Summerlin officiating.
