Funeral services for Beatrice Qualls “Mama Doll,” of Brookhaven,are 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, at St. James M.B. Church, withburial in Carver Heights Cemetery. The Rev. Larry Jointer will beofficiating. R.E. Tyler Funeral Home is in charge ofarrangements.

Visitation is Tuesday from noon until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.Family hour is Wednesday from noon until 1 p.m.

Mrs. Qualls, 100, died Sept. 23, 2011, at her daughter’s home inMonticello. She was born in Brookhaven on July 20, 1911.

She lived in Monticello with her daughter and son-in-law, the Rev.and Mrs. O.D. Evans.
