Funeral services for Bobby Randal Reneau,of Hazlehurst, were 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 26, at Zion HillBaptist Church. Community Funeral Home was in charge ofarrangements.

    Mr. Reneau, 71, died Sept. 22, 2011, at Pine Crest Nursing Home. Hewas born in Dallas on May 25, 1940, to Owanna Jo and RobertCarlisle Reneau.

    He graduated from Garland High School and continued with a degreefrom Eastfield Community College. He then served in the Navy from1957 to 1961.

    Preceding him in death were his parents. 

    Survivors are his daughters, Carla Jo Close and Angela Dawn Wicker,both of Dallas; sister, Calita Joyce Kemp and husband, Jerry, ofCollins, Texas; five grandchildren, Brandi Dawn Wicker, andhusband, Adan Hernandez, of Dallas, Kristina Naomi Javor andhusband, Chris, of Ruth, Georgiana Nicole Close, of Monticello,James Michael Wicker and wife, Nicole, of Dallas, and CorporalAaron Robert Close, stationed at the marine corps base Camp Lejune,N.C.; and seven great-grandchildren, Gabriella Alicia Hernandez,Morgan, Alishia Close, Andrea Dawn Hernandez, Isaac JesusHernandez, Jami Reagan Javor, Chelsea Braelyn Javor and DominickMichael Wicker.
