Funeral services for Aldora “Dora” NelsonFells, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13, at SiloamM.B. Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuaryis in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Wednesday from 1 until 6 p.m. at the funeralhome.

    Mrs. Fells, 84, died Oct. 6, 2011, at Countrybook Living Center.She was born in Franklin County on April 17, 1927, to Dan Nelsonand Manerva Roundtree Nelson.

    She was a retired transporter for various head starts andpreschools in Lincoln County, where she worked for numerous years.She was a member of Siloam M.B. Church. 

    Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Percy “Toy”Fells, stepsons, Percy “Pete” Fells and James “Pap” Fells; twosisters; and three brothers. 

    Survivors are her sons, Stacy Fells Sr. and wife, Dorrene, ofBrookhaven; daughter, Patricia Fells, of Brookhaven; fivegrandchildren; 11 step- grandchildren; and a host of nieces,nephews and other relatives and friends.
