Funeral services for D’ Emory B. King, ofJayess, were 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 14, at Wilson Funeral Home,with burial in Robert’s Memorial Cemetery.

    Mrs. King, 87, died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2011, at New DawnRetirement Center in Jayess. She was born in Texas on Dec. 29,1923, to the Rev. J.W. Bickley and Bessie Bickley.

    She was lifetime member of the Women’s VFW Auxiliary.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James Dewey King;brothers, Roy Bickley and Joe Bickley; sister, Marie BickleyJohnson; and son, Kirk Kirby King.

    Survivors are her sons, Glenn King and wife, Pat, Gary King andwife, Gina, Bruce King and wife, Gwen, and Stacey King, all ofJayess; daughter Cindy King Wilson and husband, Gordon, of NewOrleans; nine grandchildren, Brian King, Brad King, Ginger Lambert,Mark Wilson, Heath King, Jonathan King, Danielle Dye, Chris King,and Miranda Cotton; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous niecesand nephews.
