Funeral services for Louise Allen Allred,of Bogue Chitto, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 2, at Jones FamilyFuneral Services, with burial in Montgomery Baptist ChurchCemetery.

    Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m.until 11 a.m., both at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Allred, 80, died Oct. 30, 2011, at her home. She was born inYazoo County on July 5, 1931, to James D. Horne and JessieChristine Spiars Horne.

    She loved collecting angels, old kerosene lamps and antiquekeepsakes. She also loved spending time with her husband, travelingand going to flea markets. She was a member of Oil City BaptistChurch. She absolutely loved her two dogs, Gee-Gee and Itsy.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, James DavidHorne and Corbin Eugene Horne; and a special niece, Kimberly DawnLofton.

    Survivors are her husband of 30 years, Donald Ray Allred; stepsons,Donald Ray Allred Jr., of New Castle, Del and Michael Allred, ofPhiladelphia; daughters, Cindy Smith and husband, John, ofBrookhaven and Sandra Gay Stewart and husband, Johnny, ofBrookhaven; brother, James Carl Horne and wife, Jean, of Grenada;sisters, Richie C. Page and husband, Jim, of Bentonia, WinnieStuckey, of Jonesboro, La., Thelma Williamson, of Houma, La., JoyceMerritt and husband, Gordon, of Athens, Texas, and ClydiaCartwright and husband, Leroy, of Brookhaven; five grandchildren;four great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relativesand friends.

    Pallbearers will be Billy Whitehead, Keith Wells, David McManus,Sam Stewart, Kevin Wells and Duel Cockern.

    Honorary pallbearers will be Kevin Cartwright and John Bowden.

    In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Compassus, 140North 5th St., McComb, MS 39648.
