Funeral services for Charles DanielStringer, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at theChurch of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Red Star Ward, withburial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on NatchezDrive is in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mr. Stringer, 45, died Nov. 20, 2011, at his home. He was born inJackson on Sept. 30, 1966.

    He was in the U.S. Navy.

    Preceding him in death were his sister, Katherine Stringer; andgrandchildren, Jessie and Halle Smith.

    Survivors are his wife, Debra B. Stringer; son, Daniel OliverStringer and wife, Jessi Claire, of Wesson; daughters, DeborahMarie Smith and husband, Jacob, of Brookhaven, and Dorothy “Dot”Elsie Stringer and Will Hill, of Brookhaven; brothers, Ben Stringerand wife, Debra, of D’Lo, and Timmy Stringer, of Bogue Chitto;sisters, Judy Boyte and husband, Tony, of Brookhaven, and TerrinaHill and husband Richard, of Kissimee, Fla; and two grandchildren,Paisley Smith and Braden Hoisington.
