Funeral services for Ruby Lee Boyd, ofBrookhaven, are 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23, at Riverwood FamilyFuneral Service, with burial in Mt. Olive Church of ChristCemetery.

    Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Boyd, 84, died Nov. 20, 2011, at The University of MississippiMedical Center in Jackson. She was born in Georgia on March 25,1927, to David Herbert Buckner and Susie Nordan Buckner.

    She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Harold Eugene Boyd;grandson, Jeremy Lee Boyd; and brother, William HenryBuckner. 

    Survivors are her husband, Harold F. Boyd; son, Danny Ray Boyd andwife, Elaine K. Boyd; daughter-in-law, Diane Boyd; brother, JackBruckner; six grandchildren, Jeffery Boyd, Danielle Boyd, ChelseaBoyd, Michelle Boyd, Matthew Boyd and Nathan Boyd; and numerousnieces and nephews.
