Funeral services for Aubrey “Bud” Wallace,of Bogue Chitto, are 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 27, at RiverwoodFamily Funeral Service, with burial in Calvary Baptist ChurchCemetery in Bogue Chitto.

    Mr. Wallace, 89, died Nov. 25, 2011, at The University ofMississippi Medical Center in Jackson. He was born on Sept. 2,1922, to Martin Wallace and Elena Brown Wallace.

    He was a retired rural mail carrier for the United States PostalService and a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a Masonand a member of the Masonic Lodge #0260, of Bogue Chitto. He servedin the U.S. Army during World War II.

    Preceding him in death were his parents; four brothers; foursisters; one granddaughter; and very close and personal friend,Louis Csaszar.

    Survivors are his wife, Josie Wallace; son, Freddy Wallace andwife, Kathy, of Bogue Chitto; daughters, Betty Lou Green andhusband, Gordon, of Bogue Chitto, and Melinda Moak and husband,Millard, of Columbia; brothers, Lewis Wallace, of Brookhaven, andR.E. Nettles, of Bogue Chitto; sisters, Laverne “Missy” Hancock, ofSummit, and Sally Porter, of McComb; five grandchildren, RichardGreen, Brandi G. Smith, Michelle Stinson, Brett Moak and BrandonMoak; two great-grandchildren, Kash Stinson and Mason Stinson; andnumerous nieces and nephews.
