Funeral services for Helen L. Grice, ofBogue Chitto, are 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 4, at Wellman BaptistChurch in Bogue Chitto, with burial in Pleasant Hill Baptist ChurchCemetery. Riverwood Family Funeral Service is in charge ofarrangements.

    Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 10 p.m. at the church.

    Ms. Grice, 17, died Dec. 31, 2011, at King’s Daughters MedicalCenter. She was born in Brookhaven on Sept. 15, 1994.

    She was a student at Enterprise Attendance Center, where she was amember of the yearbook staff and played junior high basketball. Shewas a member of Wellman Baptist Church.

    Preceding her in death was her father, Lemuel “Bo” Grice; paternalgrandfather, William Ray Grice; and great-grandparents, Kees andHelen Nations and Shellie and Ruby Grice.

    Survivors are her mother, Kathy A. Thornhill Grice; brother,Nathaniel R. Grice; paternal grandparents, Dennis and Linda White,of Bogue Chitto; maternal grandmother, Ann Conrad, of Brookhaven;nephew, Steven Grice; lifetime friend, Courtney King; and a host ofdevoted aunts, uncles and cousins.
