Graveside services for Effie Jean Grenn, ofBogue Chitto, are 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, at EasthavenCemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

    Visitation is Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home onNatchez Drive.

    Mrs. Grenn, 86, died Jan. 7, 2012, at her home. She was born inLincoln County on Dec. 5, 1925, to Hiram C. and Myrtis RollinsMaxwell.

    She was the president of Grenn Water Well and Supply and a memberof Mt. Moriah Baptist Church.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James F. “Fred”Grenn; and brothers, Delmar McClendon, Billy McClendon and JackMcClendon.

    Survivors are her daughters, Gloria Grenn, of Bogue Chitto, KarenGrenn, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Janice Kaplan and husband, Eric,of Bogue Chitto; sisters, Lorraine Farr and husband, Clem, and MaryLouise Brown; six grandchildren, Chaz Hardin, Jamie Hardin, CareyHardin and wife, Amy, Alicia Dvorak, Julia Young and husband,Mitchell, and Miranda Kaplan; six great-grandchildren; and a hostof nieces and nephews.
