Funeral services for Joyce Annette Ellis,of Brookhaven, are 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at RiverwoodFamily Funeral Service, with burial in New Augusta Cemetery.

    Visitation is Tuesday from 5 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

    Mrs. Ellis, 76, died Jan. 21, 2012, at Countrybrook Living Center.She was born in North Carolina on Aug. 17, 1935, to Bary Bruce andHessie Lee Nance Maney.

    She was retired from Country Peddler and was a member of FirstBaptist Church of Brookhaven. She was also a member of theBrookhaven Lioness Club.

    Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, CalvinEllis.

    Survivors are her sons, Calvin “Zeke” Ellis Jr. and wife, Sharon,of Brookhaven, Bruce Ellis and wife, Ann, of Belk, Ala., and KeithEllis, of Columbus; brother, Richard Maney, of Old Town, N.C.;seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; and a host of niecesand nephews.
