Funeral services for Etta Fay Anderson, of Bogue Chitto, are 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 10, at Hartman-Sharkey Funeral Home in McComb, with burial in Montgomery Baptist Church Cemetery in Summit. The Rev. Mike McKee will officiate.
Visitation is Friday from 5 until 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 until 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Anderson, 76, died March 7, 2012, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. She was born in Lincoln County on Feb. 15, 1936, to Troy E. and Veda Grace Moak.
She was a member of Montgomery Baptist Church and was a retired seamstress from Kellwood Company. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and good sister who loved her family and friends and enjoyed her flowers. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Preceding her in death were her parents; one grandson, Eric Anderson; one brother, Claude Moak; and one brother-in-law, Jerry Dunaway.
Survivors are her son and his wife, Robert “Bobby” and Alice Anderson, of Louisburg, N.C.; seven brothers and their wives, Carroll and Janice Moak, Curtis and Bonnie Lou Moak, Clyde and Bonnie Ann Moak, Calvin and Bernita Moak, Charles and Cynthia Moak, Clayton and Tracy Moak and Ellis and Linda Moak, all of Bogue Chitto; sisters, Sarah Adams, of Tulsa, Okla., and Winnie Dunaway, of Bogue Chitto; two grandchildren, Kevin and Susie Anderson; five great-grandchildren, Heather, Timothy, Mikeal, Erika and Nickolas, all of North Carolina; one sister-in-law, Darlene Moak, of Bogue Chitto; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be her brothers, Carroll Moak, Curtis Moak, Clyde Moak, Calvin Moak, Charles Moak, Clayton Moak and Ellis Moak.
