Mr. and Mrs. Troy Joseph Rembert of Baton Rouge, La., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Cheree’ Nicole Rembert, to Clinton Day Case.

He is the son of Kathy Day Case and Thomas Ray Case, both of Brandon.

She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert D. Soileau of Baton Rouge and Linda Chenier Rembert of Greenwell Springs, La.

He is the grandson of Dolores Day Strait and the late Ralph Hall Day of Brookhaven and the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Versie Case of Brookhaven.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Redemptorist High School in 2002. She attended The University of Southern Mississippi, where she was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. In 2006, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Deaf Education. She is presently an auditory-oral teacher at Magnolia Speech School in Jackson. She is pursuing a master’s degree from The University of Southern Mississippi in Early Oral Education.

The prospective groom is a graduate of Madison Central High School in 2002. He attended Holmes Community College and The University of Southern Mississippi, where he was a member of Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. In 2007, he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Administration. He is the general manager of Mugshots Grill and Bar in Flowood.

The couple will exchange vows Saturday, April 28, 2012, at 7 p.m. at St. Richard Catholic Church in Jackson, with a reception at The South.
