Funeral services for Sarah Aline Freeman, of Brookhaven, were 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 1, at Ramah Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Visitation was Sunday from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.
Mrs. Freeman, 78, died March 30, 2012, at King’s Daughters Medical Center. She was born in Brookhaven on Nov. 7, 1933, to Joe B. and Eunice Porter Smith.
She was a loving grandmother who lived by the Bible and was a wonderful cook and homemaker. She was a longtime member of Ramah Baptist Church in Franklin County.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Lucille Smith and Eva Davis; brothers, Holmes Leon Smith, Oscar Othell Smith, Marvin Smith and Dan Paul Smith; granddaughter, Cynthia Lynn Cloy; great-granddaughter, Autumn McKenzie Bozeman; and two sons-in-law, Thomas Cloy and Ronnie Moak.
Survivors are her husband, Solon Freeman; son, Solon Freeman Jr., of Brookhaven; daughters, Linda Munn and husband, Timmy, of Wesson, Christine Cline and husband, Larry, of Hazlehurst, and Debra Bozeman and husband, Ricky, of Brookhaven; 9 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Shane Moak, Rusty Moak, Joshua Rutledge, Travis Cloy, Revis Freeman and Casey Freeman.
Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Dale Smith, Oscar Smith Jr., Fred Wayne Smith, Michael Ray Smith and Mike Roberts.
