Funeral services for Calvin Paul Hux, of Wesson, were 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation was Sunday from 9 a.m. until noon at the funeral home and from 1 until 2 p.m. at the church.

     Mr. Hux, 74, died April 6, 2012, at his home. He was born in Bogue Chitto on Sept. 21, 1937, to Monroe and Minnie Rippy Hux.

     He was retired from Georgia Pacific in Monticello, where he was a welder and pipe fitter. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

     Preceding him in death were his parents; and brothers, Poz Hux and Charlie Hux.

     Survivors are his wife, Edith Britt Hux, of Wesson; sons, Paul Hux and wife, Kristi, of Wesson, and Brad Hux and wife, Wendy, of Wesson; daughter, Sheila and husband, Barry, of Houma, La.; sisters, Peggy Ritz, of Brookhaven, and Edna Buitt, of Bogue Chitto; and grandchildren, Chance Fontana, Hayden Hux, Abigail Hux, Haleigh Hux and Harrison Hux.
