Graveside services for Amanda Smith Mellard, of Ogden, Utah, are 11 a.m. on Friday, April 20, at Union Baptist Church Cemetery.

     Mrs. Mellard, 32, died April 9, 2012, at St. Mark’s Hospital in Salt Lake City.

     Preceding her in death were her mother, Rheba Smith; paternal grandparents, J.P. and Eula Smith; and maternal grandparents, Wesley E. and Nancy McGlothin.

     Survivors are her father, Mervin Smith, of Bogue Chitto; brothers, Johnny Smith and wife, Jeanne, of Durango, Colo., and Terry Smith, of Bogue Chitto; and lifelong friend, Samantha Wilinson, of Brookhaven.
