Funeral services for Helen Lambert Ballard, of Monticello, are 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 21, at Brookhaven Funeral Home on Natchez Drive, with burial in New Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Monticello.

     Visitation is Saturday from 10:30 until 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

     Mrs. Ballard, 92, died April 19, 2012, at Bedford Care Center in Hattiesburg. She was born in Jayess on March 9, 1920, to Marshall and Dora Kyzar Lambert.

     She was a seamstress at Kellwood Manufacturing Company and a member of New Zion Baptist Church.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, William Narce Ballard; three grandchildren, Robert Randall Alexander, Charles Edward Havis and Robert Hugh Havis; two sisters; two brothers; and two sons, Harvey Ballard and Marshall William “M.W.” Ballard.

     Survivors are her sons, Durell Ballard, of Prescot Valley, Ariz.; daughters, Lillian Havis, of Purvis, and Dora L. Alexander, of Necaise; 19 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
