Funeral services for Robert Harvey Durr Sr., of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 26, at Riverwood Family Funeral Service, with burial in Stewart Cemetery in Bogue Chitto.

     Visitation is Wednesday from 5 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Durr, 38, died April 23, 2012, in Jefferson County. He was born in Florida on Oct. 13, 1974.

     He graduated from Brookhaven High School. He was a safetyman for Shaw Industry and a member of Southway Baptist Church. He served in the Army National Guard. Mr. Durr was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and was loved by everyone. He left behind his soul mate, Cindy, of 18 years.

     Preceding him in death were his father, Jackie Wayne Durr; and grandparents, Robert Ezell, Roy and Katherine Thompson, and Harvey Durr.

     Survivors are his wife, Cindy Durr; mother and stepfather, Evelyn Ezell Buitt and husband, Robert; mother-in-law, Virginia Smith; sons, RJ Durr and Nathan Durr; daughter, Christi Wallace; brother, Jackie Durr and wife, Renee; sisters, Connie Cade and husband, Tony and Cathy McNeese; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Cody and Mona Bridwell, Jeana Deblanc and Chris and Lenny Threeton; two grandchildren, Collins Wallace and Acelyn Nuckles; grandmother, Mildred Chandler; 13 nieces and four nephews; and special family friends, Wesley and Angie Gill, Justin and Shannon Smith, Chase and Mandy Fugler and Ronnie Norton and their families.

     Pallbearers will be Chase Ballard, Chase Fugler, Dustin Bankston, Hunter Wallace, Cody Teekel, George Jones, Lee Allen and Quang Boui. Honorary pallbearers are Tony Cade, Cody Bridwell, Ronnie Norton, Malcolm Cupit, Ross Barnett, Wesley Gill, Lindsey Jackson and Daniel Alred.
