Funeral services for Nancy Carol Cagle Durr, of Fredericksburg, Texas, were 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 12, at the Church of Christ in Fredericksburg, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery. The Rev. Tommy LeFan officiated. Schaetter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

     Mrs. Durr, 78, died May 10, 2012, at her home. She was born in Wynne, Ark. on April 18, 1934, to Charlie and Eula Mae Farmer Cagle.

     She received her Bachelor’s degree from The University of Southern Mississippi. She married Jerry Durr on April 20, 1955 in Strong Hope, Miss. Mrs. Durr was a member of the Church of Christ in Fredericksburg, Texas.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; one grandchild, Peyton Durr; and brother, John Cagle.

     Survivors are her husband, Jerry Durr, of Fredericksburg; sons, Steve Durr and wife, Sandy, of Palmer, Texas, Glenn Durr and wife, Taby, of San Antonio, and Douglas Durr and wife, Lisa, of Nashville, Tenn.; grandchildren, Dustin Durr, son of Glenn and Taby Durr, and Ryan Durr, Analise Durr, Allye Durr and Abby Durr, children of Douglas and Lisa Durr; and sisters-in-law, Jean Cagle, of Montgomery, Ala., and Janis Rutland, of San Diego.

     Those who so desire may make memorial contributions in her memory to the Hill Country Memorial Hospital, the Church of Christ, or to the charity of your choice.
