Funeral services for Dixie Nell Walker, of Brookhaven, are 11 a.m. on Friday, May 18, at Wesson Baptist Church, with burial in Wesson Cemetery. Brookhaven Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Friday from 10 until 11 a.m. at the church.

     Mrs. Walker, 88, died May 16, 2012, at Haven Hall Health Care Center. She was born in Prentiss on Sept. 2, 1923, to Ona Magee and Franklin M. Griffith.

     She wasvretired from the Potter Company where she was a secretary. She was a member of Wesson Baptist Church.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; and husband, Walter E. Walker.

     Survivors are her daughters, Mary Love McInnis and husband, Tony, of Wesson, Betty Jean McLendon and husband, Robert, of Wesson, Deborah Ann Britt and husband, Kenny, of Wesson, and Ona Faye Case and husband, Dennis, of Brookhaven; sister, Kitty Riley, of Clinton; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
