Funeral services for Hugh V. Townsend, of Brookhaven, are 3 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 11, at Hopewell M.B. Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Williams Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Friday from 1 until 7 p.m. at the funeral home, with family hour from 6 until 7.

     Mr. Townsend, 53, died Aug. 6, 2012, at Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb. He was born in Brookhaven on June 20, 1959.
