Funeral services for the Rev. Sammy Brister, of Ardmore, Ala., are 2 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 13, at Elkton Baptist Church in Elkton, Tenn., with burial in Wellman Baptist Church Cemetery in Brookhaven. Bro. William Suddarth and Bro. Billy Taylor will officiate. Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

     Visitation is Wednesday from 3 until 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

     Mr. Brister, 66, died Sept. 10, 2012, at his home. He was born in Brookhaven on Oct. 11, 1945.
