Funeral services for Betty Joe Allen, of Edwards, were 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 13, at Glenwood Funeral Home in Vicksburg, with burial in Edwards Cemetery.

     Mrs. Allen, 80, died Oct. 10, 2012, at Heritage Manor in Houma, La.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Hugh Allen; son, Dexter Allen; and sister, Elaine Prouty and husband, Paul.

     Survivors are her sons, Hugh Andrew Allen and wife, Brenda, of Saginaw, Texas, and Dana Allen, of Vicksburg; daughter, Ava Stathes and husband Roger, of Houma, La.; four grandsons; three granddaughters; sisters, Neva Groome, of Dallas, and Arva Pearl Smith, of Brookhaven; brother, Kirby Conrad Smith and wife Barbara, of Wyndale.
